boot problem

I'm getting annoyed with my boot,it's not catching when I shut the boot and have to try a few times to make sure it's closed..its not all the time but ud think it would shut first time...does anyone else have a similar problem?

If it's the same as the mk5 golf. Undo the bolts a little of the catch on the bottom then slide it upwards then tighten it again.

U'd think it b aligned already but it's been like that since

Might not have been quite tight enough, then been pushed further in as the boot is shut

When u say the catch at the bottom is that the flappy piece of plastic that hides the catch, undo the bolts there?or the one that's on the boot that lifts up

Behind the flappy bit, looks like a 15mm bolt. You'll need to take the trim off. Really easy, just pull straight up hard, there's 4 clips holding it on
