boot opening by itself randomly!

hey all,

as the title says, my boot keeps opening itself at random times. it happened a month or two ago and then stopped. it has started again today so i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or knows a remedy!

You need to take it off and inspect it, usually corroded from water from the rear wash/wipe so it shorts out...

ok thanks, i took the panel off inside the bootlid last time it happened cos i found out that the rear washer pipe comes off n leaks, but it hadn't, so i just cleaned up the plugs with wd40. my rear washer still works fine now, is there another known problem with them?
