Hi everyone need a bit of help. Have a central locking issue where its will unlock all doors however won't lock from key. And when locking in barrell only the driver door locks. Wiring is all good and when I hold lock button on key all windows go down. Looks like the comfort module is faulty and replacing it. However from key or boot handle the boot won't open. Was wondering if comfort module could cause this fault also or if its probably a separate issue? Thanks

Have a close look at the boot lock for washer fluid, the rear screen washer motor can leak and cause strange things to happen. Also the wiring between the drivers door loom and A post can break up or short out inside the rubber gaiter. If you can’t see anything wrong with those two items then you’ll have to start changing parts such as the BCM.
Did you scan the car with vcds? This is what you should do if you don’t find any broken cables on the drivers door inside the rubber.
