Hello,

i dont know too much about boost, however I plugged in a OBD2 reader and letting the car idle from a cold start my boost was sitting at -10PSI, does this sound correct? On my other car with turbo it sits in the positive.

Thanks!

It will do. Mine sits between -0.7 Bar which is exactly -10 Psi.

Its normal dont stress. As the vehicle is pulling a vacuum which causes it to be negative. And when you start accelerating your boost should go up to your target boost.

But in a technically term. When your turbo is not forcing air into the engine, the engine is sucking air which causes the vacuum. Which is why the gauge is showing you how much vacuum your engine is pulling.
