A proper log where you rev to redline on WOT (wide open throttle) you’ve only revved to 2280 rpm your turbo is most likely still getting into its stride by that point, use 3rd gear as it makes the log long enough to be meaningful.

Find a nice quiet long straight road and start as low on the RPM as possible, foot flat to the floor all the way to redline.

then we can see if actual is following requested properly, also log your n75 duty at the same time.

Will post a proper log, just need to creep out at night to an empty road.

Yup. That data is nearly unusuable because there's not enough rev range. If you can log in 3rd gear from about 2000 to redline we can tell a little bit more. What are your symptoms? It might be helpful to log fuel rail pressure as well.

Initially it looks like a boost leak but your turbo is just spooling up so it's not a fair assessment or measurement.

Checked for leaks, tbh found a few very small unnoticed leaks. Installed a manual boost controller and so far haven't seen the error again.

Buys car with sophisticated management, fits 1990’s bleeder valve to it :sadlike:

Will when "the sophisticated management" sucks go old school...

It doesn’t suck, it’s just needs diagnosing properly.

Im more comfortable with the 90's bleeder thingy, anyways it looks more badass

Btw it was originally intended for diagnosis but decided to keep it when it performed so good, but at least now i know that N75 valve is faulty.

What will you do if the engine wants to protect itself and go into limp mode?

That never crossed my mind!! I guess there fits the bad luck!

My car threw an overboost and went into limp mode today, so apparently the Germans had anticipated my smart *** would be replacing their technology with a some 90's bleeder valve and decided to let something else controller the overboost?!

No. You bandaided it and now the band-aid is floating around in the pool. Check for leaks and items that are loose. Could be a hose or could be the wastegate. Never will know until you check.

Wierd, I cleared the code and its all normal now!? Maybe something else threw it into limp mode.
