The bonnet cable has snapped, it's still connected to the handle in the car but it does nothing, any ideas how I can get the bonnet open? It's a 2010 Cheers

Yeah m8, had it all to bits inside and pulled on the cable with some mole grips. Nothing happened other than more cable coming into the car
Well I got in ! With this:
But had to take the driver side wheel and arch liner out. Luckily it was just the plastic bit where the 2 cables join.
Still ended up having to replace both cables which resulted in this

The plastic connector housing under the bonnet seems to be the weak part, any excessive force exerted on the handle and that's where it's likely to gowell done mate, think i'll be checking mine tomorrow make sure it in good nick
