Bluetooth music iphone 5

Sorry if this has been covered, I did a search but couldn't find it…

When I play music from my iphone via Bluetooth I can't find a way to select track/album/playlist etc. I can control it from the phone but not the car.

Is this normal? If not does anyone know how to do it?

As far as I'm aware that's all you can do. I'm sure you can change track by nudging the volume dial to the right. It was the same in my old Fiesta. Limitations of bluetooth I think

Yes I can skip track by nudging the dial, but I'm sure you should be able to view/select stuff…

Nope, just skip and back, pause and play that's all. Do you have tech pack with connect? If so you can stream media over wifi with full access to playlists, etc.
