Taken my car to the garage who have said the blue smoke is due to DPF needing replacing now they are the experts but I was just looking for a second opinion does this sound likely?

Or too little info to say?

Thanks for any help

If it was DPF related i would expect there to be fault codes present. Was there?

I'm not sure they didn't say specifically that but they did they word it in a way that suggested that's how they found it.

Maybe I will ask them this...

Sorry thought I uploaded. Second opinion from garage not DPF related.

Currently nothing to be too concerned about it could be something might not be but until it comes out a little more not worth investigating apparently...

TBH i doubt any of those codes are related to the smoke.
When does it smoke in particular ?

Honestly I have barely noticed it but cold mornings to be expected a little? And then maybe if left idling for 5 mins but it always clears and then is fine when driving.

I always thought blue smoke was oil releated.

For dpf I would expect black as it’s carbon burning.
