2.0 140 TDi Avant. When the outside temperature creeps above about 20 degrees the blowers stop working completely. There are no faults registered. What am I most likely to be looking at? A wiring issue to the controls? Maybe wiring at the blower motor?

I had an issue with the blowers not working on my b5 avant. It turned out to be the motor.
Apparently you can buy and change the bushes instead of buying a whole new motor (a mate of mind did this).
The motor in the b5 was behind the glovebox and wasn't difficult to remove.
