I'm looking to fit a boost gauge to my 8p bkd tdi. I'm stuck on what hose i need to tap into for the feed to the gauge as I've seen it done a couple off different ways and can't find it anywhere on here . Any advice or pictures would be much appreciated

Fair enough, was expecting you to say "coz they are cool init" lol

Can't really help you with where to tap into the boost hoses but the majority of the standard ones are plastic and flexi hose. May not be ideal to make a secure connection too. You can track the pressure through the obd port though I used to do it with my samsung galaxy nexus and a Bluetooth obd adapter. Use an iPhone now so it's a little more expensive to do. This could be an option for you though....

You want to tap into the hose coming off the EGR valve at the front of the engine

two ways of doing this; tap into the existing hose or buy an EGR delete pipe with a boost hose take off point. The latter would be better as you are unlikely to introduce a boost leak into the system
Darkside Developments sell the pipes

Hi, slightly unrelated to the boost gauge question but do you have any pictures of the darkside hard pipe kit fitted?
Looking into aftermarket hoses for my 2.0tdi 140, hoping to get rid of the loose fitting standard fiment, the hose going to the imf/egr is starting to become loose and I'd rather buy uprated hoses than keep replacing the standard ones over and over!
