I am looking at fitting the BEX turbo to my B5 1.8T. I have the Neuspeed Xtreme TIP (some pics here https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/neuspeed-xtreme-turbo-intake-pipe.16965/)

However the BEX compressor inlet (K03-73) looks to be a tiny but bigger than the K03-005 so the adaptor plate doesnt seem to fit. It was snug on the K03-005 and the K04-15 I had fitted years ago but went on. I measured the inlet and it 45mm on the BEX K03-73 and 44mm on the K03-005.

The other thing is the adaptor retaining holes that bolt the adaptor are lightly further out on the BEX K03-73 than on the K04-15 and K03-005.

I am thinking of getting either just a new silicone TIP or getting the adaptor machined slightly so I can fit it.

Anyone else had any issues? I guess the BEX turbo is quite uncommon.

I used the Forge Silicone TIP Longitudinal equivalent. Phone them and ask for measurements to be precise but mine fit. Albeit VERY snug according to my Mechanic. Now running a K04-023 hybrid in a ko3-029 housing.

Yeah I think a normal silicone TIP will fit ok as it has some stretch.

The neuspeed used a metal adapter to fit a much fatter hose. I have a silicone TIP so will just use that.

Yes try your other and see if it fits.

Should be alright albeit a PITA on how snug it really is!
