Best way of disc between brake disc and alloy

Hi All,

Probably one of the most vague posts here but i have a little bit of surface rust which i wish to remove between the brake disc and the alloy wheel. i've tried Iron Out and its removed a little bit of it but i'm looking for that little more va va voom with removing the surface rust - WD40? Brake cleaner? Surface cleaner? Cilit Bang?! (obviously wouldn't put cilit bang on them)

Vague isn't the word lol.
Take a pic and post it m8 :)
Is it around the brake disc on the outside ur on about?
Or the wheel?
Iron out is for metal filings and contaminates, not for derusting :)

i did try my best! it is the little drum between the brake disc and the inisde of the alloy wheel - usually they get quite bad surface rust.

will get a picture and upload it :)
 
Cleaning rotors

After cleaning the same as what this guy here is spraying
 
I might be wrong but I'm sure u can rub it down with sandpaper/ wire brush and paint it.
I'd be carefull and mask off threads etc before doing it tho :)
