Best S3 Mods

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been mentioned a million times before.

Ive had my S3 since February now and im looking at modding it, what in your opinions are the best and must have mods to do?

Remap would be the best per buck

Remap to go stage 1 which will see around 300-310bhp
Lower it 25mm on H&R springs
Replace the ARB's with H&R to stiffen up the ride, improve handling and more or less get rid of the understeer.
Panel filter uprated
cat back exhaust

After that I would invest in a clutch and replace standard flywheel as they are like chocolate

After that then I would go stage 2

Full system exhaust from Milltek, Blueflame or MV Sport for example
Intake system from ITG, Evoms, Forge or Dbilas
Stage 2 remap

After that you can go stage 2+

High pressure fuel pump - APR or Autotech
Stage 2+ remap

Another mod I would encourage anyone to do is install a Forge short shift kit. Expensive but I absolutely love it!! Makes the gearbox feel more manly lol

Couldn't agree more, that will give you a seriously quick car, and at stage 2/2+ seriously think about investing in some real brakes.

Do you need to uprate clutch when having s tronic or gearbox remap would be enough?

You don't even need to remap the box but you may as well to get quicker changes.
