Best places to remap in essex?

Hi guys,

Anyone know where to remap near essex? Looking to remap my s3 8p stock.
No mods what so ever.

I have used celtic tuning before on my 330d.

Has anyone used them for the s3? They claim stock remap to run 315bhp. Im looking for around 310bhp.

Don’t use Celtic, plenty of -ve feedback on here about them. AMD Essex was the original go-to, could be worth contacting?

What are you looking for, what did they offer and what was the price?

As you have all stock hardware you’re likely looking at Stg1. AMD will create this map while your car is in a rolling-road dyno so truly custom.

Theres a big difference between a generic map being downloaded to the ecu and driving home and a new map and fine tuning on a rolling road. The former will give you a map that is thought to give the best of power, torque and mpg.
The latter is optimised mpg, power, torque tailor made for your car, it will also be quieter and smoother and that’s why it costs more. It’s your choice .
I went for the latter from AMD and we’ll pleased with how the car drives. You do need to factor in new coil packs soon after as the chances are they will break down due to the extra power, 3 of mine went faulty so I changed all 4.
