best light bulbs.

Hi all.
Not wanting to go down the hid route so what are the next best thing in bulbs ?
I know some claim to be awsome but are actually rubbish.
Wanting side lights. Dipped headlights and high beam.
Any links to tried and tested models would really be appreciated !

I've used the Philips extreme vision. I'm like you, not into he HiD thing. I've not fitted them to my Audi yet, no need in the summer and only had the car a couple of months. Once the nights start to draw in I'll be fitting them. Had them fitted on my last car, a Saab, which had standard bulbs. Difference was like night and day, no pun intended.

Yeah, I've always replaced the bulbs in my cars with the Philips ones and found them to be a noticeable improvement.

i put osram night breakers in my L200 (was a bit sceptical(if that's the right word)) and the difference really was night and day! lol

i tried osram night breakers in my a4 dip beam, still not good enough to see safely.
it had to be a hid kit, i used the night breakers in my main beam eventually

He is pretty much all you need for bulbs. Supplied mine, it went from candles to daylight.
