I see, ruf are a tuning firm are they, I love the old air cooled porsche's, woluld like one 1 day:cool:

Yea as far as i know they beef up the engines with a couple of turbos. My dad used to work for porsche from 1982 to 1992 ish so i was always in air cooled porsches as a kid. Hopefully i'll be able to own one someday too.

That video is from 'faszination on the nurburgring' and the driver is Stefan Roser. You can buy it on DVD from RUF but it is 100 Euro...

Why buy it when you can get it free on YouTube?

That's part of the reason why youtube are/have been sued for millions for copyright infringement.

got this on dvd - fantastic driving...

... also does a lap in the snow - that is something else to watch!!

Check this vid out...

This award winning short film documents Ari Vatanen's record-breaking run at the 1988 annual Pike's Peak Hill Climb Event in Colorado. The film was created by Jean Louis Mourey and captures Vatanen climbing Pike's Peak in a four wheel drive, four wheel steer Peugeot 405 T16. Watch the world famous rally legend rip through hairpins and glide past sheer cliffs at 14,000 foot elevation from cameras inside, in front, underneath and above the car. This is by far some of the most spectacular and nerve bending race car footage ever recorded. The film has since become one of the most watched and talked about car films ever, right up there with the French cult classic "Rendezvous".

The guy is fast but that lap is very messy, he's all over the place.

And that shifter looks like its moving between time zones.
