Hi,

I have a 2004 Audi A3 8P 3.2 Quattro which is currently on FK coilovers. I am looking to upgrade and improve the handling with new coilovers and upgraded fit front and rear anti roll bars.

Just wondering if you can give me some advice on the best setup. The car is mainly a fast road car with occasional track days possibly in the future. Budget around £1200-£1400 for both.

Thanks in advance, James

Morning,

Thank you for your post.

Handling wise I'd probably go for something like the Bilstein B14 kit matched with some H&R ARBs -

Hi Damian,

Thanks for your advice.

So you would say the Bilstein B14 coilovers are the best sub £1000 coilovers? Happy to trade a slightly harder ride for better performance but will be doing a 2,500 mile Europe road trip in the summer over 7-8 days. I assume it is better to go with a non damping adjustable coilover than a damping adjustable coilover for the same price (as I would think the non damping is better quality)?

Any additional advice or just confirming your initial recommendation would be much appreciated.

Regards,

James.

Morning,

Yes I find the Bilstein B14 kit one of the best on the market in terms of handling, the H&R monotube kit is also one to consider.

Yes that's right.
