Over the last 3 days I have fit a "Welly" fmic, new silicon T I P ,done the SAI delete and fit an oil catch can piped to atmosphere.
Fiited the 330 ohm resistors.
Everything was fine this morning, running really well then later in the afternoon it started miss-firing.
Plugged in reader no codes came up,so changed all the spark plugs,no change.
My car is a 210 bhp apy year 2000.
Could this be coil packs ?

Coilpacks are coming tomorrow,in the meantime I managed to get a second hand one off a mate and last night went through each of the coils and found that the one on cylinder 3 was the faulty one.
Running really well now and can't wait to get it remapped.
Still don't know why no fault codes came up on the reader.

i got an a3 180bhp quattro 2000, i had a coilpack let go, scanned it with my snap on reader.....no codes.... scanned with mates vagcom.... no codes, i guess audi didnt see the need for the ecu to store coilpack fault codes in 2000 lol
