I’ve FINALLY bought a BCS downpipe and 200 cell sports cat. Cannot wait for it to be fitted. My drama is; I’ve heard you need a powerflex lower engine mount bush for it.

How vital is it I buy and fit one of these? Or does it not really matter.

Apologies guys I’m pretty new to upgrading my car! Cheers (Y)

BCS advise you fit one (they fitted at the time they fitted my system) as there isn’t much space for twist without the engine or prop shaft hitting your downpipe.

The powerflex is about 25£ and easy to fit - might as well do it while it’s on the hoist getting the dp fitted. Replace the bolt as it’s a stretch bold (although I didn’t!) and torque it to 100 ft lb + 90deg.

My observation for what it’s worth - the mount does really increase the vibration when stationery.
