need to remove battery to unblock drain holes,what keeps battery down old b5 had a bolted flange,cant see how this one works,owners manual useless once more.

a torx bolt
look down the front nearest the engine you will see it pull the thick wireing block up to get a better view and to get to it
u can fish the drain plug out with a long driver or wire coathanger no need to remove the batt

there is a better way again to clear the blockage-reach under the bulkhead grip the rubber plug and pull it out,as the local audi mechanic said "bin it".
