Battery charge while on car??

Hi, S3 in garage for 6 months now so was going to put my trickle bike charger on now & then (I have with my other car) over this period. After uncovering battery there is this electrical box on top with multiple wires going into. Will I still be fine to trickle charge with this connected to battery as well????

Cheers for any advice (is it just a coil or something??)

The box on top is just fuses... you want a proper charger thats will maintain a charge rather than a normal charger something like a CTEK charger...
