Bang and Olufsen stereo

anyone tried to install a bang and olufsen stereo into a b6? I’m looking to upgrade the hi-fi and came across a bunch of ‘8k B&O’ speaker sets from S4s on eBay, mostly from Germany. Probably spend more getting them plumbed in than buying a new system but just wondered

If B&O is anything like BOSE, running these speakers with a stock head unit will sound crap. I know BOSE speakers are different impedance compared to non-BOSE.

You’d need to fit the B&O amplifier too, not an easy task due to Component Protection Issues, as well as compatibility with the rest of the B6 control modules.

Did they fit B&O to the B6 from factory? I thought they only put Bose in them?

Correct, sir. B6 was too early to have factory B&O.
