Balance shaft

Hi recently had a new balance shaft and turbo fitted. Around a month later the oil pump has gone. Should this happen or has it been fitted wrong

What engine code and what companies product ?

Oil pump cassette gone or upgraded drive ?

Not sure what has gone. They are stripping it down more to find out .was rattling when turned over .engine code is bre.
