Well for those who say that your current insurer will never match new quotes..My insurance is due this month, so did the usual ring around, and as usual some were lower than my renewal, some not.

Finally got my renewal through and rang my current insurer (elephant) to discuss it. Explained about the lowest and asked if they could match... No problem, even lowering my xs by £100...
