Bought myself a 2006 A3 2.0t S-line Special Edition, misano red 38000. Bought as a run about as my daily drive is a 2014 Golf GTI. My Question is, the lacquer is pealing in loads of places. Is that normal? Sorry My name Is Barney and look forward to your help

Hi Barney.
It seems to me that the car has had some sort of repair work in the past? Audi cars are generally very good on their paint work.A car of that age won,t be perfect but I would expect the lacquer to be generally in good order if it has not had any repairs.It,s quite possible a garage in the past has touched up body panels ie bonnet ect to get rid of stone chips/scratches and haven,t done a very good job in spraying the lacquer?..
