Now bare with me I know the title isn't the best haha, had a resonator delete done on my s4 saloon on Monday, all was fine apart from it being louder than I'd like, but last night driving home from work I put my foot down and got a loud whooshing noise at about 4k and up, did it in all modes and gears when underload, sounded like the windows were down abit but they weren't, and it does it at low speed and only under heavy acceleration so definitely not wind noise, could it be that the exhaust has started to blow? Sounds like it's coming from the rear but hard to tell for sure

That was my thought as well, even as standard you hear a nice hiss as the turbo spools up if you don't have the radio up. Aftermarket exhaust would likely accentuate that.

Yep I get this, it’s the turbo (or turbos
