B8 Shake On Idle?

Ok so I have an A4 B8 2.0 6sp manual. On startup the engine and car shakes/vibrates as its idle with no gears engaged. One garage said my gearbox mount had failed they replaced it and it improved slightly. However the problem has persisted, another garage saying its clutch and flywheel but would that happen at idle without fw and clutch engaged?

Yes the flywheel will rattle even when you are still. If it's the clutch you would hear different sound when you press and release the pedal.

If it's the flywheel, it may feel like you are in a strong sideways wind

Give a small rev and if it shakes alit it’s flywheel as I had same on 2015 A4 with 20k and audi replaces the clutch and flywheel under warranty.
