B8 or B9

So, being new to Audi and coming from BMW (I know pretty much all their E/F numbers off by heart), I am curious about the Audi system for type numbering.

My understanding is that the latest A5 is "B9" and the previous shape is B8.

However, looking in my 2017 new shape one, it says Typ B8 on the sillplate at the front of the drivers door. Is mine a B8 or a B9? or is this a different number?

I found the answer - to do with the refrigerant and type approvals!
