B8 a4 2.0 tdi auto 143 re map?

I have an a4 2009 which is an auto 2.0 and I was thinking of getting a stage 1 remap but don't know the cons(if any)

is is it a wise choice to get it mapped it's done 100k miles

Also will it drink more fuel or preserve it?

I don't think you will have any negatives........well apart from the increase in your insurance premiums! You should get better mpg, better throttle response and increased performance. Speak to Brodster on here as he's a mapper and he will be able to advise you.
