B8.5 Avant Rear Wiper

Hi all,

When I bought my A4 Avant last May, the rear wiper was knackered.

I bought a decent replacement, but for some reason it has made a horrible squeally noise since I installed it. It seems like the standard length is too long and it also struggles to clear the screen.

Is this normal, if so, is there a workaround?

I don't know if it's normal, but I have the same noise issue with my rear wiper.
Even after its been replaced.

Degreased the glass? I swear my Autoglym's glass polish on a damp cloth, then remove with microfibre cloth. You can use Rain-X but you shouldn't need it. Wiper wise, anything with Bosch in the name will be long lasting.

I was going to suggest Rain-X also, I have the one that is combined with a window cleaner and not heard a peep (or a squeak!) our of mine!
