I was wondering what I would need to change to fit a b7 front to my b6 cabriolet. Would it be the same job as the saloon, cutting wings etc. Or is it just a case of changing the slam panel, lights, grill, bumper and bonnet???
Hey... same as a saloon expect the wings of a b7 cabriolet fit directly on as the lines that run down the side of the car will all align (on a saloon the lines dnt align hence why they cut the existing ones)...
Wings are defo needed as the shape of the headlights are different...
The rest is as you mentioned.,..
Obviously B7 cab wings are unique due to the panel crease, but do saloon bumpers, bonnets and headlights fit as I am considering doing the B7 facelift.
it's been done, but pretty major work and potential to undermine the crash-safety of your car....
seriously consider something like the Hoefle RS4 or A5-look kits instead... the RS4-look can be done with / without the LED strips (see the Hoefele site)....
