I think they're 8E0 601 025 J which is indeed a 8E A4 wheel.

Probably an optional extra on some models.

You will be able to tell by the part number stamped in below the centre cap.

7.5J & ET45

Edit - They were also a winter wheel option for the B6 S4 in 7J & ET38 but part number 8E0 601 025 P.

Dunno if it makes any difference but mines a quattro sport on the log book and that's what I've got fitted.

They're the ET45 7.5J version.

Like you say, definitely a B6 wheel.

I had a look around ebay and they appear on mostly V6 models, with the 5 spoke wheels coming on the 4 cylinder cars? But then yours is a 4 cylinder.

Maybe it was just an option when new which type you got and theres no fixed set of models that got them.

Slightly different to the B5 where the sport models all got the same wheel and there wasnt really any choice when new.

They were stock on my car. They are a nice wheel, one of my favorites of the 17 inchers. I'd prefer a set of 18" Avus wheels, but these 17s help compensate for the stiff sport suspension with the bigger tire. Mine were refurbed in a sort of slightly mirror finish (I have 4 stock ones too) and that made them a nightmare to clean. They are simple otherwise.
