B5 TIP question.

Thinking of getting a B5 TIP soon, I currently have a BMC CDA on my 2002 S3 atm, doesn't sound awfully different to the standard air box.

But my question is, do I get the whole B5 kit with cone filter and heat shield etc, or just get the TIP and use my BMC?

The BMC CDA are pretty poor on these Dan, I replaced mine with a Jetex and saw a 12 /gs improvement back to back, pretty bad for how much they cost!!

get the full kit, if you run a cone filter you will need to support it.

yea, the BMC CDA's have a REALLY bad record on these engines! Jetex and B5 TIP all the way!

Quick question, I could give bill a bell tomorrow but thought I'd ask...

Does anybody know how much it would be for the jetex filter and heat shied ? I've already bought the tip but would like a bit more of a rasp that people are talking about with the full kit.
