B101804 Rear Side Airbag Crash Sensor (on driver side) Defective

Hello,

I'm new to the website/forum. Recently purchased a Audi a3 8v 2014 and I've got an issue with my airbag light. I took it to a garage and they ran diagnostics and got the following code - B101804. Something to do with driver side 2nd row sensor?
Didn't get much else information from the garage apart from the code.
Used Carista to get the following codes:
P2002 - Diesel Particulate filter. Efficiency below threshold - but its only holding about 20g of soot at the moment.
19226 - not to sure what this is

So I had this fault awhile ago.

It was a different code though.

The airbag sensor is located to the right and left of the rear seats. The plastic trim where the seatbelt comes out of [the front piece, I can show it WAY more clearly later if you like].

I am sure you have tried clearing the code and it hasn't worked.

First do a hardware check like the one I have attached to this message.

If all else fails and the sensor is confirmed to be faulty it can be replaced pretty easily. I doubt it's faulty though. Very rarely do critical sensors like that fail out of the blue. I'm sure something else is going on.

Hi, Thanks for replying.
Yes, When clearing the fault it comes back immediately and yeah if you can show me/ explain how to check the sensor thatll be great as im not experienced with cars and diagnostics.
How would I conduct the hardware check, I've got carista but the code I got for airbags using that was useless.
