Awd to rwd

I have a 2004 a4 Quattro 1.8 Is there any way to go from awd to rwd without getting a different tans if so how car is NOT A DAILY it is a track car
 
You know how hard it is to get to that to weld

Don't think theirs an easy route, I know on some cars you can pull plugs to make them front wheel but to make it rear surely the only option is welding and/or cutting stuff.

If you take it some place that welds diffs they might have ideas (and/or sort it).

Not quite sure how rear wheel drive is better than all wheel drive on a track but guess discussing that would be taking this off topic a bit...
 
You must weld center diff, and get out front shafts. I have done it on my B4

Beacuse of wight bias, the car does not behavior like other RWD cars (mercedes or BMW) but it have some advantange, it can go faster tru corners than quattro. And doesen't have some much wheelspin as BMW or mercedes, when you get out the corner and hit the throtle
