Avant tailgate interior light

Tailgate interior light is really intermittant...

How do I get access to the the interior bulb in the Avant tailgate - cannot figure how you get the cover off - thought i would ask rather than just have a go at breaking it.....

and....where is the microswitch located for the tailgate interior light....

hi there
the boot light on the avant is controlled by a ballbearing that runs up and down inside the tailgate strut .
if you have a intermitant light then its probably this .
i have the same problem on mine just hav'nt got round to sorting it .
