Over oast few months I have noticed a shorter section wire on the rear heated windscreen not heating up. All other pieces do but that shorter bit in OS don't. From memory, all of the wires on the back window are connected together and work as one whole unit, right? Now, that one shorter wire must have broken somewhere and does not connect to the rest. It did worked after window tint job and I have not damaged in any way 100%. I did stripped the interior tailgate glass surround trim some time ago and remember only one power connection each side of the screen so assume above. Maybe when I did removed the trim could've got damaged somehow? Anyhow, is there a way to fix it or glass replacement job that is? Sent from H P20 PRO
Found the problem. Run my finger on that line and felt a bulge. Think, that wire is broken in that spot. To paint it for continuity of heating element, I would need to take the tint off. I'm screwed then ... My OCD will twitch with every rear windscreen defrost/heating, in colder periods Sent from H P20 PRO
