avant rear door speakers

My rear door speakers really lack bass,like non!
Fronts are good. So are they all poor performers or mine have had better days?

Rears are powered by the Amp. The fronts by the headunit. Don't expect good bass from the avants compared to the saloons. A bit daft of Audi to do this.

it depends on what kind of bass your talking about
the system is designed so as all the low frequencies below around 120hz go to the subwoofer
when upgrading to aftermarket equipment the avants have the advantage as the subwoofer isnt trapped in another compartment like the saloons

ok. Thanks. The subs not connected at the mo,the bass is supposed to be going to the sub in the rear,as there's no sub=no bass.

Just thought there be some bass from the drivers in the doors.

no mate its done specifically so as the speakers can reach a higher volume without damaging them

Door speakers are mid to high range... sub does the low
