Avant radio reception with heated rear window on was rubbish now solved

Nice to report an easy fix for a change, we had been suffering from non existent radio reception when the heated rear screen was on,turns out i had 2 small breaks in different lines, a touch in using comma electrocure good as new.

Sounds promising, I have same problem, yours is an avant too? Where were the breaks, rear screen or aerial (side) screen?

The breaks were on the rear screen, first one high up in fact underneath the rear window sticker and the second right hand side half way, and yes on an avant
