Hi all.

Figured this was more of a generic platform question so popped in here.

I'm looking to do some sound deadening in the boot of my RS4. Everything else in the boot i.e. the side trim and boot lid trim etc seem pretty easy to remove. But the Battery housing/B&O control unit (which is also connected to the tyre foam kit etc) in the wheel well (no space saver) has upward facing bolts and nuts.

The threaded bolt comes up and at the base is the bolt. I can't see the bolt head and don't want to unthread this incase I lose the bolt if that makes sense.

I'll get some photos tomorrow but I'm going to do a very thorough job so want to get down to the bare panels as much as possible.

Anybody removed this before for any reason? cheers guys.

The threaded pins that come up out of the floor are part of the boot floor.
You can't loosen them.

To take the B&O sub out just unclip the wiring loom, undo all the nuts and it lifts straight out
