Avant Ali Roof Rails

Noticed when cleaning the Avant that the ali/silver roof rails are starting to loose their ali look, as in looking like they are loosing there plating/ dis-colouring in parts.

Gonna try cleaning them with metal polish but I doubt very much that they are in fact metal?

Any tips for what people have used to clean their roof rails or if they have the same issue?

Try Workstatt Acrylic Prime, can get it from Poished Bliss - I have found it brings both roof rails and the window trim back to 'as new'

Cheers, that seems to be a polish as well, is that right or is it just for trim?

Yeah had similar issues when I removed mine to sell, managed to clean up a bit but even with an acid liquid they didnt come up that well, still nice but be good to get to newish look, anyway sold them now but will remember for next time
