AUX Input for Audi Concert Radio

Hi I have a 2008 Audi A3 with an Audi Concert head unit.
I have an AUX port in the centre console put when I plug in my phone using an 3.5mm AUX cable and I press CD multiple times it just plays the CD. The 3.5mm cable and phone are both ok as they work with other cars and speakers. Anyone know why this is happening?

I was unable to find a solution myself so I took it to an Audi dealer and they re-activated it for me. I believe it’s just a case of plugging in a laptop and enabling it. I dont know why this isn't enabled as default seems silly to me!

It may have been enabled by default but i'm guessing if maybe the battery has been disconnected or the headunit removed and replaced it could have required re-enabling?
