Auto Windscreen Wipers

Morning All

Is there any way that the sensitivity of the auto wipers can be increased - mine, when selected to auto is pretty pants and the screen gets covered before the wipers think to wipe!

on the front of the stalk is a rotating bit that can be used to select 4 different settings

Yeah I know that one - but I don't think it is that - I am talking about the sensitivity of the sensor that seems to be quite poor!

On the most sensitive setting it is still quite poor. Maybe they are all like that!

it is the switch on the stalk, you just slide it left and right, it kind of works......maybe faulty but unlikely?
