The auto lights sensor thing seems to be on all the time on my car i.e the sensor is thinking its dark. Car is filthy. Where is the sensor located ? Im thinking it maybe dirty and sending out a wrong signal.

If I remember correctly there is also a setting in the MMI for the auto lights feature. Late or early. Believe it’s within the car settings.

Get a cotton bud and try and clean the sensors on both sides; I did this recently as my interior mirror hardly dimmed and although it doesn't work as often as I feel it should it's much improved!
