Auto dipping passenger mirror on reverse...

Is there any way to disable the feature from within the car?
I've tried all the settings to no avail.

If you don't have the wing mirror selector on the L setting then I don't think it activates when you select reverse?

just have the wing mirror switch set to the middle location .. (or right just not left!)

You can "adjust" it while in reverse, so that its in exactly the same position as when its not in reverse

Correct. Don't know why you'd need to if it doesn't actually do anything in the middle setting?

Are you saying that you have tried the suggestions and it doesn't work ;(

Perhaps I should have added the word `permanently` to my OP, because that is what I want.

Haha, just leave the mirror adjustment switch permanently in the middle?

Or as someone suggested you could just adjust the dipped position to the same as your normal position and it would never move regardless?
