I'm sharing the love and support mate. I should clone my self. That might help. Lol ADI next. That should be good.
I know Scott, tbh I couldn't even point out my car on the ASN stand as sooo many cars. ADI will be a test to see how we can maintain the glory.
Scott, your B5 looked great mate sorry we were a tad early to meet up yesterday morning, may do ADI so lets sort something out for that
Couple of people asked bout some members and their cars. I looked over at ASN and thought "****, where do I point then to". So many cars, great lay out. Only down side, cars was not in model order but I can Start to think how you would organise that amount of cars in that shape and keep them in model order. I would love to see over 100 cars at ADI. That would be nuts. ADI would be a hard one to do I think. The space is not as sparse (right word?) As AITP and not as open. Be interesting though. Thanks mate. I was trying to look for you and your motor but I don't know what you look like and trying to your S4 was hard, so I gave up. Lol ADI back in my home county/area. Going up on Friday and hoteling it I think. Join us?

Oh man I had a wicked time! Good to put faces to names and everyone was great to meet! Lol at welly's mate for stalling lol made chuckle on the way there! I'll post some pics when I'm awake properly but everyone was great to see you there! ADI next! Also thanks to admin and the staff that set up our stand, looked mint! Those burgers were spot on too!!
ANoyed i did'nt come along now, next year defo, just cars not ready atmo, and it was quite away to drive in the rain. but fair play the asn stan rocks, and nice cars, pat on the back to everyone i think.
what a great show! big credit to the audi sport team, that bbq and water was a great idea, heres my selection of pics from the day Audi's In The Park 2012 - a set on Flickr
Good day had by all then. Just having a look at all the pics.....what is the engine in post #27 4th picture down......or what is it going to be as a lot missing in that engine bay.
At heart it's a 2.7 V6 just as Audi put in at the factory. A *few* of the accoutrements have been uprated. Some of them (most notably of course one of the turbos) have been dispensed with. satans child (aka Jack) is the man to talk to...
Just one from me... Sterling work bud! Thanks to everyone who turned out to help make the stand as impressive as it was - but particularly to this man for, after putting in so much before the show, then spending 8 hours over the barbecue!
great day out to,the stand was great and a big turnout of people.thanks for the free barby must of been a hot one for you chaps well done.good pics aswell peeps..
Fantastic turn out by all and credit to all who put it all together, I shamefully turned up later than i expected due to working that day, but better late than never,
What an amazing day, had a great time and really enjoyed my self and the family did too, which is what makes this such a great show and venue. Weather worked in our favour as well and held out for us. Hats off to the admin, for the cracking spread they put on, well done to all involved Good to see the usual suspects and also good to put a few more faces to names. Roll on AITP 2013
was a great day, altho I was parked with AudiSRS, had a good look around ASN's stand and you guys really did pull out all the stops, especially catering for pretty much everybody. Credit where credits due guys :thumb: MRC's widebody stole the show for me, that car really is a work of art
GREAT that we won best club stand - it looks terrific in the photos. Superkarl - she's had another coat of wax since you last saw her, but the closer I look the more little imperfections I notice. Going to fit my B5 TIP later in the week, so I'm looking forward to that.
Well done all the organisers & ASN Food prep's volunteers if I can call you that who helped out on the BBQ & everyone else who helped to make AIP so an excellent event. Also well done to ASN for winning the best stand, & I hope my little RS3 helped in some way being one of many cars front of house near the BBQ. I'm sorry I didn't stay long enough to get to meet everyone on the ASN stand. As I expect to be back next year, I hope to spent a little more time if possible, as it is only fair really considering ASN kindly let me on their stand, when I could have been stuck at the back in the far corner. So thanks once again to one & all, it was most appreciated & I will make a bit more of an effort to meet some more members next year
Was great talking to you matey! Your car was gorgeous! I uploaded a few pics on AITP'S Facebook page! Like I said there, get it mapped and watch how monsterous it'll be!
Me and my girlfriend had a great afternoon. The weather was good, the BBQ was great. Some really nice cars to look at and the people were friendly. Couldn't ask for anymore! Thanks guys for all your all hard work and effort. Hopefully meet more of you next time.
That's my car Phil. The one with the Dub Fiction banner in front? Here's a recent pic that shows some of the trimming done by MJ Interiors: At AITP:
Just to add my thanks for a fantastic day!, met loads of people and also thanks for the kind comment on the car, well done to all for putting on a great show! Here a few pics from the phone, will upload the camera photos later
More photos Just realised I didn't take any of my own car at the show!, guess I was too busy looking at everyone else's! So here's mine ready to go
would love to see more of the seats themselves and your rear bench heard you may have had the lines tweaked
