History
I bought the car from a forum member and it was meticulously maintained. It was originally a dealer demonstrator after which it had three owners before me, the last two Audi Forum members who had sold exchanged the car between them.

I was fortunate and only looked at a couple of cars before finding this one. It ticked all the boxes both condition and specification as it has the full TT3.2 spec. including the paddle-shift DSG gearbox.

For me, the TT3.2 provided the perfect balance between performance, usability and price. It’s amazingly practical for touring – I have done the NC500 twice in the car and been away for 10-days+ with luggage – the boot is bigger than you think and inside the car is perfect for a 6 foot + driver and passenger. It may not have the Porsche cache but it’s certainly as capable as a similarly aged Boxster and significantly cheaper to run.

Servicing
The car has a fully comprehensive service history with a detailed folder of invoices and a running spreadsheet of all work completed (copy available on request). When I bought the car, the meticulous records and consistent servicing and maintenance were a major element in my decision to buy.

I have also maintained the car to a high standard and added more than 20,000 miles to it in the past three years without fault, a testament to its mechanical condition. During the past three years servicing and maintenance has been:

2016: Minor service, four new tyres
2017: Major service including DSG gearbox and Haldex diff. Brake pads and disks replaced.
2018: Major service. Rear springs and self-levelling sensor replaced. New tyres.
2019: Minor service. Replacement of anti-roll bar bush.
The car has a fresh MOT which runs until 20th March 2020.

In total, in the past three years the car has had just over £3000 spent on it for servicing and maintenance.

Condition
The car drives very well and has been entirely reliable for the three years and 21,000 miles I have owned and driven it. It has been garaged stored and covered with a fitted cover. It is approaching 16 years old and, as expected, there are stone chips and marks on the paintwork. A common area for corrosion and paint bubbling on these cars is at the bottom edges of the sills and there this is now starting to show on the four edges. I have had paint mixed to do this but haven’t had chance, as I’ve recently been using the car as a daily driver.

The interior is clean and the seats are in good condition with some wear to the edges of the driver’s seat and, obviously some sun fading. The central cubby box lid has come adrift (I always had this open anyway) and the driver information panel has a few missing pixels – not enough to make it unreadable but a possible job for the future (an easy fix from a specialist).

The hood works cleanly and is fast up and down. The hood material has discoloured in some contact areas especially as the car has been driven so much with the roof folded. The fabric has been regularly cleaned and reproofed with Autoglym.

Mechanically, the car starts, steers and stops entirely as it should!

Accessories
The car comes supplied with a fitted tonneau cover and fitted indoor car cover (which was bought for over £100). The is a tyre inflation kit in the boot.

I am asking £3450 for the car.

It’s available to view or test (with proof of insurance) in CW5 5 – Nantwich, Cheshire near the M6 Junction 16.
