Facelift audi side assist fault

Hey guys

Recently swapped my front grill & side mirror caps since then I have got side assist fault on my dash
and the side assist lights won't work on the mirror . checked all wiring to the mirrors and it's all good
upon checkin on vcds it says right side open circuit ...

can anyone point me in the right direction to fix This ?
don't want to see the dealer as my car is apr stage 2 tuned ...

thanks for the reply I did swap sensor lights with another s3 and it didn't work .
all the wiring looks good , what else can I check in terms of wiring ?

Surely if the only thing you've touched regarding the side assist is the mirror caps and assuming you've cleared any faults from disconnection, it must be in the mirror cap somewhere!
Is it factory fit side aassist or retro?

If it's open circuit then it means there is no circuit, hence you've tampered with the wiring, so you need to look at this.

was a easy fix one of the wires was plugged in wrong in the left mirror ...
brain fadeeeeeeee but all good now
