For sale here is my 2001 Audi S6 4.2 V8 Quattro with an Lpg conversion which i had hoped never to sell but with an impending commitment looming it is up for sale.
This, i feel is an excellent example of what is becoming a rare car finished in quartz grey with silver nappa leather, carbon fibre trim and specified badgeless front and rear. It also benefits from some interesting factory extras such as double glazed UV glass, electric adjustable steering column, heated rear seats, electric solar sunroof with the original sales purchase receipt in the folder.
Service history is with main dealer stamps in the book up to 80K and independant dealer (the same one) up to 110k 2010. Receipt for major service (toothed belts etc) at 126k. i bought the car at about 148k and do any service work or maintenance myself. Last oil and filter change was done a couple of k ago.
Currently running on standard 17" tyres but i have the original S6 Avus wheels that will come with the car (left the front passenger on for the photos for reference)along with some other spares that i have accumulated for when the may need replaced. Also the car is currently sitting on Eibach pro street coilovers (rears still to be fitted) which are still as new with the front only been on for about 1000 miles.
I will be putting a new MOT when the time comes.
General condition if the car is excellent but as you should expect there would be a couple areas that would benefit from some minor work (always had a plan to get round to them) to make it A1. There are a couple of areas on the roof and part on a door that is starting to bubble, there is a small crack on one of the lower plastic trims, but generally the car is in excellent shape for the age, probably down to the aluminium panels on the car. The drivers window is slow to rise, i have a replacement mechanism that will also come with the sale.
The car drives superb with sure footed comfort, that still feels a joy to be in. An amazing V8 note but with a more easy on the pocket LPG running cost.
Will be missed when it sells and i would like to hope it sells to someone who will appreciate it as i have and preserve it as it has years of life left in it.
I am happy to discuss anything further..
Many Thanks
