How to adjust the front subframe?
Do I have to lift the enginee?

No you don't.There are mainly 16mm bolts and don't hold the engine nor gearbox. Within the subframe sits the steering rack.
Easy job,doesn't take too long with a power tool.

Are talking about the B8?
In B7 the subframe is easy to be moved but when I tried to I was not able to move it even 1mm...

Yup, I am talking about the B8.
So now I am confuzed.... Tried to move the subframe and nothing!

Old subframe I took up, it has 12 main bolts to take off.

You also obviously need to take off the lower wish bone or loosen it for dome slack.

By the way, why do you need to move it?

If its not warped nor bent, its easier to get a proper laser realignment than fiddle with the subframe.

With a power tool its not a long job though.

I have googled the subframe that looks like mine.

I remember to untighten 8 bolts only (marked).
Is it the same subframe? Can you mark all the bolts?

The B8 subframe is the same for the cars, only difference is where you mount the engine mounts when putting it back on an A4/A5.
Unscrew all 12 bolts to make it move . I took pictures and make them for you.
Best go back and release the 12.
